1 ـ الف ـ محصولات مذکور در شماره‌های این فصل تنها وقتی مشمول این شماره‌ها می‌شوند که دارای دانه باشند، حتی در خوشه یا روی شاخه.
ب ـ این فصل شامل دانه‌هایی که مقشر شده یا به نحو دیگری کارشده‌اند، نمی‌شود. با وجود این برنج پوست‌کنده، سفید شده، صیقلی شده، براق شده، در اتوو (Etuve) خشکانده شده (parboiled) یا به صورت خرده برنج، در شماره 06 10 طبقه‌بندی می‌شود.
2 ـ شماره 05 10 شامل ذرت شیرین نمی‌شود (فصل 7).
یادداشت شماره فرعی
1 ـ اصطلاح «گندم سخت» به گندم از گونه (Triticum durum) و دو گونه‌ای‌های (Hybrids) منشعب از اختلاط انواع گندم «Triticum durum» که مانند آن دارای همان تعداد (28) کروموزوم باشد، اطلاق می‌شود.
مندرجات ذیل یادداشت فصل 10
1- ورود موکول به رعایت مفاد ماده 11 قانون حفظ نباتات مصوب 1346 می‌باشد.
2- حقوق ورودی بذر غلات 4 درصد ارزش می‌باشد.
3- ورود و صدور محصولات مشمول این فصل موکول به رعایت ماده (7) قانون دامپزشکی مصوب 1350 است.
4- ورود بذر و نباتات که در اسناد صدور کشور مبدأ مشخصاً دست‌ورزی‌شده محسوب می‌شوند یعنی با تغییرات ژنتیکی تولید شده‌اند از لحاظ بررسی خطرات زیست‌محیطی موکول به تایید سازمان حفاظت محیط زیست می‌باشد.
5- صدور بذر و نهال در مقیاس تجاری منوط به اخذ گواهی از مؤسسه تحقیقات ثبت و گواهی بذر و نهال و با رعایت مقررات قرنطینه می‌باشد.

Notes.
1. (A) The products specified in the headings of this Chapter are to be classified in those headings only if grains are present, whether or not in the ear or on the stalk.
(B) The Chapter does not cover grains which have been hulled or otherwise worked. However, rice, husked, milled, polished, glazed, parboiled or broken remains classified in heading 10.06.
2. Heading 10.05 does not cover sweet corn (Chapter 7).
Subheading Note.
1. The term “durum wheat” means wheat of the Triticum durum species and the hybrids derived from the inter-specific crossing of Triticum durum which have the same number (28) of chromosomes as that species.
Explanatory remarks to Chapter 10
1. Importation is subject to the observance of Article 11 of Plant Protection Law adopted in the year 1967.
2. The import duty on seed cereals is 5% of the value.
3. The importation and exportation of products of this chapter are subject to the observance of Article seven of the Veterinary law approved in 1971.
4. The entry of seeds and plants which, according to the export documents of the country of origin, have been identified as genetically modified shall be subject to the approbation of the Environment Protection Organization in terms of any environmental dangers.
5. The exportation of seeds and saplings on a commercial scale shall be subject to a certificate obtained from the Institute for the Research, Registration and Certification of Seed and Sapling, and to compliance with the quarantine regulations.
