یادداشت‌ها.
1 ـ این فصل شامل میوه غیرخوراکی نمی‌شود.
2 ـ میوه‌های سردکرده باید در همان شماره‌های مربوط به میوه‌های تازه طبقه‌بندی شوند.
3 ـ میوه‌های خشک کرده مشمول این فصل ممکن است جزئاً دوباره آبدار شده (Rehydrated) یا برای مقاصد ذیل عمل آمده باشند:
الف ـ برای حفاظت یا پایداری اضافی (برای مثال از طریق عمل حرارتی معتدل، گوگردی‌کردن، افزودن اسید سوربیک یا سوربات پتاسیم)،
ب ـ برای بهبود بخشیدن یا حفظ وضع ظاهری آنها (برای مثال، از طریق افزودن روغن نباتی یا اضافه نمودن مقادیر کمی شربت گلوکز)،
مشروط براینکه خصوصیت میوه‌های خشک کرده را حفظ کرده باشند.
مندرجات ذیل یادداشت فصل 8
1ـ ورود هر نوع میوه تازه مشمول این فصل موکول به رعایت ماده 11 قانون حفظ نباتات مصوب 1346 است.
2ـ ورود محصولات مشمول این فصل به صورت خشک‌کرده، کنسرو شده، محفوظ شده، پخته شده، یخ زده و امثالهم موکول به رعایت ماده 16 قانون مواد خوراکی، آشامیدنی و بهداشتی مصوب 1346 است.
3- ورود بذر و نباتات که در اسناد صدور کشور مبدأ مشخصاً دست‌ورزی‌شده محسوب می‌شوند یعنی با تغییرات ژنتیکی تولید شده‌اند از لحاظ بررسی خطرات زیست‌محیطی موکول به تایید سازمان حفاظت محیط زیست میباشد.
4 – ورود و صدور موجودات زنده ت ییر شکل یافته ژنتیکی و محصولات تراریخته ملزم به رعایت مفاد قانون ملی ایمنی زیستی با کسب مجوز قبلی از وزارت جهاد کشاورزی میباشد.
5- به ازای صادرات 1.5 کیلوگرم سیب درختی، حقوق ورودی یک کیلوگرم موز معادل 5% ارزش تعیین می گردد.

Edible fruit and nuts; peel of citrus fruit or melons
Notes.
1. This Chapter does not cover inedible nuts or fruits.
2. Chilled fruits and nuts are to be classified in the same headings as the corresponding fresh fruits and nuts.
3. Dried fruit or dried nuts of this Chapter may be partially rehydrated, or treated for the following purposes:
(a) For additional preservation or stabilisation (for example, by moderate heat treatment, sulphuring, the addition of sorbic acid or potassium sorbate),
(b) To improve or maintain their appearance (e.g., by the addition of vegetable oil or small quantities of glucose syrup),
Provided that they retain the character of dried fruit or dried nuts.
Explanatory remarks to Chapter 8
1. Importation of any kind of fresh fruits classified in this chapter is subject to the observance of Article 11 of the Plant Protection Law approved in 1967 .
2. Importation of the products covered in this chapter whether dried, canned, preserved, cooked, frozen or the like is subject to the observance of Article 16 of the Law on Foodstuffs and Beverages approved in 1967.
3. The entry of seeds and plants which, according to the export documents of the country of origin, have been identified as genetically modified shall be subject to the approbation of the Environment Protection Organization in terms of any environmental dangers.
